Yunyan district creates more opportunities for young talent

Yunyan district in Guiyang city is strengthening its data industry while creating more opportunities for young talent to build their careers. Guiyang Qingyuan Huamao Data Co, which established operations in the Yunyan Economic Development Zone Data Industrial Park in March, has expanded its workforce from more than 100 to 300 employees.

The company has secured more than 400 orders and generated over 15 million yuan ($2.22 million) in output value since it began operations. It is expected to be included in the city's list of enterprises above the designated size in mid-August.

Yunyan is now home to 80 digital industry enterprises, including 51 core data annotation companies. The district has also been recognized as a Guizhou Provincial Digital Intelligence Industrial Park.

To meet industry and talent needs, Yunyan has established a talent recruitment and training mechanism combining campus recruitment, social recruitment, and vocational skills training.

It works with more than 20 universities to build training bases, has provided internship opportunities for nearly 1,200 students, and has helped companies recruit more than 2,000 employees over the past year.

The district is also improving services for young talent by providing affordable employee housing, dedicated park cafeterias, and shuttle bus services, along with employment, training, and daily-life support. These measures are helping young people build careers in Yunyan while supporting both industrial growth and employment.
