A special recruitment fair for key industry-skilled talent, one of the major events of the 14th Guizhou Talent Expo, was held on May 16 at Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic in Qingzhen city, Southwest China's Guizhou province, with more than 180 employers offering nearly 9,000 job opportunities.

The Guiyang City-Gui'an New Area recruitment section featured 88 employers, providing 294 quality positions and planning to recruit 3,781 employees. Participating companies mainly came from leading industries such as big data and new energy.

The recruitment area attracted 797 job seekers, including students from Guizhou Industry Polytechnic College, Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Water Resources and Hydropower, and Guizhou Vocational College of Agriculture, who sought employment opportunities alongside Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic students.

"I'm participating in a recruitment fair held during the Guizhou Talent Expo for the first time," said Li Xue, a student from Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic. "I didn't expect so many companies to recruit on site and communicate face-to-face with job seekers. It really helped me identify my career direction."

Shijihengtong Technology Co, a leading enterprise in the big data sector, also participated in the fair and attracted many applicants for consultation. "As a professional information technology service provider, we plan to recruit 100 data review and annotation specialists this time," said Mo Yan, a human resources representative of the company. She added that the company received more than 160 resumes during the first large-scale recruitment event of this year's expo.
