Registration closed for the Guiyang City-Gui'an New Area preliminary round of the "Create and Win the Future" 2026 Entrepreneurship Competition on May 7. It has already attracted 414 projects across various fields, including technological innovation, rural vitalization, cultural tourism and wellness, digital economy, and public services. Participants include college graduates, returning entrepreneurs, veterans, and people with disabilities.
Registration for the competition opened in early April, with projects recruited through both online and offline channels. Online promotional efforts were carried out through human resources and social security platforms, university entrepreneurship centers and incubators, while offline efforts included expert guidance sessions, competition briefings, and project coaching activities.
Since April 20, human resources and social security authorities in Guiyang and Gui'an have provided guidance for participating projects on topics such as competition categories, judging criteria, business plan writing and presentation skills. Officials also visited incubators and key enterprises to explore promising projects.
The competition adopts a "4+2" track model, featuring four main categories focused on technological achievements, industrial development, vocational skills, and public service needs, as well as two special divisions for youth innovation and returning-to-hometown entrepreneurship.
