Guiyang and Gui'an recruit talent at Southwest University

A Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area recruitment fair for college graduates was held at the Beibei Campus of Southwest University on March 31. A total of 399 enterprises and public institutions, including PowerChina Guiyang Engineering Corporation Limited, offered 1,418 positions at the event.

The openings covered a wide range of in-demand fields such as education, healthcare, big data, and modern agriculture for Ph.D. holders, master's degree graduates, and bachelor's degree holders and below.

As a national university included in China's "Double First-Class Initiative", Southwest University offers 106 undergraduate majors, including 62 designated as national first-class undergraduate programs.

In addition to a large number of quality job opportunities, the event also featured a specialty gift area and a policy consultation area.

Local Guiyang products such as Rosa roxburghii jelly, fresh juice, and milk were distributed free of charge, giving students a taste of authentic Guiyang and Gui'an flavors. At the policy consultation booths, staff members provided detailed guidance on talent settlement, beneficial policies for purchasing and rental housing, and entrepreneurship support, helping students gain a comprehensive understanding of employment policies in Guiyang and Gui'an.

Moving forward, Guiyang and Gui'an will continue to visit universities in cities such as Shanghai, Shenyang, and Guangzhou to recruit talent.
