Guiyang holds on-site social insurance consultation for public at Qianlingshan Park

Staff members from the data management center of the Guiyang human resources and social security bureau set up an information booth at the entrance of Qianlingshan Park on March 26 to provide residents with guidance on social security policies and demonstrate how to complete social security qualification verification using mobile phones.

The Guiyang social insurance service center and the social insurance bureau of Yunyan district also provided consultation services.

During the event, staff members explained key social insurance policies, introduced some of the most common ways in which insurance fraud is committed, and answered questions from residents. Informational brochures at the booth explained the importance of verifying eligibility for social security benefits, how often it is required, and how to complete the process.

According to statistics, the event provided policy consultations to more than 200 residents, distributed over 500 informational leaflets, and helped more than 30 people verify their eligibility to receive social security benefits.

Some residents took brochures home for further reading, while many young people consulted staff members about contribution levels and related policies. Staff members provided detailed explanations and helped estimate potential benefits. Staff members patiently taught elderly visitors how to use the "Guizhou Human Resources and Social Security" WeChat applet and helped them complete the verification process required to receive social security benefits.
