Guiyang and Gui'an hold talent recruitment event at Beihang University

Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province launched the first stop of their 2026 talent recruitment campaign at Beihang University on March 17, attracting interest from Beijing students.

Employers from Guiyang and Gui'an included the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Tenth Research Institute, Guiyang Engine Design Institute of the Aero Engine Corporation of China, Guiyang Engine Design Institute, China Zhenhua Group, and the Guiyang Aluminium Magnesium Design and Research Institute.

Many students brought resumes and engaged in face-to-face discussions with recruiters to learn about job requirements, career prospects, and local talent policies.

During a forum session, student representatives from Beihang University and other Beijing universities, particularly those from Guizhou province, discussed topics such as big data, aerospace development, and rural vitalization, while expressing willingness to return to Guiyang and Gui'an for employment and entrepreneurship after graduation.

Long Wenrui, a graduate student majoring in software engineering at Beihang University, said he was excited to see companies from his hometown recruiting on campus and hoped to seize the opportunity to return and develop his career.

A policy consultation desk was also set up to explain support measures such as housing assistance and entrepreneurship policies, encouraging more graduates to build their careers in Guiyang and Gui'an.
