A train fully loaded with complete knock-down kits for Geely automobiles sets off on a 11,650-kilometer journey every Wednesday from Dulaying Station at the Guiyang International Land Port — exiting China via the Alashankou Port in Xinjiang and heading for Minsk, Belarus.
Today, under the "fast customs clearance" model, China-Europe freight trains carrying Geely auto parts complete all paperwork in Guiyang in a single step. When the trains reach the border, they only need track adjustments and cargo reloading before crossing over, saving companies from secondary customs declarations, transshipments, or extra document checks.
This innovative regulatory model has cut overall customs clearance time by half and shortened the transportation cycle by nearly 10 days.
By the end of July this year, a cumulative total of 86 China-Europe (Central Asia) freight trains had been operated, transporting 9,046 twenty-foot equivalent units and helping 53,100 metric tons of Guizhou goods reach global markets.
Moving forward, the Guiyang International Land Port will continue to expand its international logistics network, optimize cross-border trade services, and further drive high-quality Guizhou goods out of the mountains and into the world.
