Representatives from Guizhou Power Exchange Center, in partnership with eight organizations, recently visited Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) to provide comprehensive training and policy briefings on green power and green energy certificate (GEC) to foreign trade and cross-border e-commerce enterprises within the zone.
As high-quality products from Guiyang FTZ enterprises are exported to 148 countries and regions worldwide, the massive volume of import and export trade has driven an urgent and widespread market demand for green power consumption and GEC purchasing. Green and low-carbon certification has now become a critical tool for these enterprises to expand into overseas markets and enhance their international competitiveness.
To improve enterprises' familiarity with green power policies and procedures, the event featured a consultation and display zone, where organizers provided answers to enterprises' questions while explaining relevant policies.
Moving forward, Guizhou Power Exchange Center plans to further expand the scale of the province's green power and GEC consumption market. This effort will boost the consumption and utilization of new energy within the province, foster new business models for energy-saving and low-carbon industries in Guiyang FTZ, and accelerate Guizhou's high-quality, green, and low-carbon socio-economic development.
