The China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base in Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) has exported more than 350 vehicles this year, with an export value exceeding 30 million yuan ($4.39 million), doubling the figures from the same period last year.
Jiang Jun, deputy general manager of Guiyang Silk Road Automotive Technology Co, which is the operator of the export base, stated that the annual goal is to export 2,500 vehicles with a total value of over 400 million yuan.
The company has established nine overseas operation centers in Laos, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, offering comprehensive services including warehousing, sales, and after-sales maintenance.
Since becoming operational in 2023, the base has expanded its presence in international markets, building a client network that now spans more than 80 countries and regions.
At the 2025 China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, Guiyang Silk Road Automotive Technology Co led a delegation of over 10 Guizhou enterprises, securing 80 million yuan in signed contracts on-site. Currently, the base maintains a steady shipment pace of 50 vehicles per month to Africa.
According to Jiang, this year's priority is to build a closed-loop ecosystem integrating complete vehicles, spare parts, and localized after-sales service. The base will push for the launch of the China Automobile City project in Nigeria, establish a dedicated inland transport route from Guiyang to Almaty, and continue a full-scale push into global markets.
