The Guizhou-Lancang-Mekong Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange event was held in Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) on March 20. The event drew nearly 200 business entities.
Participants engaged in matchmaking with representatives from Lancang-Mekong countries to obtain policy information and establish normalized communication mechanisms.
During the economic and trade exchange session, Guiyang FTZ delivered a presentation on regional development and industries. Highlighting its policies and logistics channels, the zone introduced its unique strengths in foreign trade, enterprise cultivation, and customs clearance.
Guiyang FTZ invites all parties to share in new developmental opportunities and win-win collaboration. In turn, representatives from Lancang-Mekong nations introduced their respective investment environments, core industrial policies, key cooperation projects, and import-export demands, engaging in Q&A and matchmaking sessions with Guizhou enterprises.
The event also featured a specialized training session where experts in foreign affairs and commerce provided instruction on international etiquette, overseas risk prevention, and consular protection, offering professional and practical guidance for companies engaging in cross-border cooperation.
This exchange focused on key sectors including cross-border logistics connectivity, comprehensive new energy utilization, fruit imports, used car exports, and bonded display and sales to further clear trade channels and expand cooperation.
