Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has developed a "platform construction + full-chain services + subject cultivation" model to address pain points in Maotai baijiu exports.
The zone has built the Guizhou International Consolidation and Deconsolidation Center, which establishes a one-stop service platform for "groupage booking – customs declaration – tax rebate financing – mixed transportation".
The zone's model introduces professional consolidation services to address challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with less-than-container-load (LCL) shipments. Additionally, the zone has built a Sinotrans professional logistics and warehousing facility, including 25,000 square meters of Class C-1 warehouses that meet baijiu storage requirements.
Guiyang FTZ has also launched the "Guiyang-Qinzhou-Southeast Asia" sea-rail intermodal route, expanding air freight options and enhancing enterprises' export transportation options.
Through its government-enterprise communication platform, Guiyang FTZ has conducted foreign trade thematic training sessions and provided "one-on-one" guidance to help enterprises complete customs filings, promoting the professional and standardized export of wines.
The zone has also provided end-to-end guidance to SMEs with no foreign trade experience, no overseas resources, and no overseas orders. By collaborating with overseas resources, Guiyang FTZ has built market connection bridges for enterprises, advancing batch export preparations.
