Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, hosted a thematic salon at the Guizhou Jijun Semiconductor Industrial Park on Dec 5, inviting representatives from Zhucheng Customs, financial institutions, optoelectronic industries, import-export trade, and logistics sectors to discuss the development of a billion-yuan optoelectronic industrial park.
At the event, Guizhou Jijun Semiconductor Technology Co introduced the industrial status and supply chain planning of the industrial park. Guiyang FTZ's bureau of commerce elaborated on the implementation plan for the optoelectronic industrial park construction, outlining the goal of building the Jijun Semiconductor Industrial Park into a billion-yuan-scale optoelectronic hub from 2026 to 2030.
The plan emphasized a development strategy led by technological innovation, supported by open platforms, and focused on extending, complementing, and strengthening the industrial chain. Key components of the plan include the construction of a high-quality industrial ecosystem, improvement of logistics channels, and enhancement of policy support.
Since its completion and operation, the Guizhou Jijun Semiconductor Industrial Park has utilized industrial and technological innovation to drive growth, attracting five upstream and downstream projects.
The park's efforts to extend, complement, and strengthen the industrial chain have been recognized by provincial and municipal authorities. Guiyang FTZ will establish a professional service team and implement new service measures to elevate service capabilities and ensure smooth park development.
The salon is expected to foster consensus among government and enterprises, unite efforts from all parties, jointly promote park construction, and share development achievements, contributing to the high-quality development of Guizhou's open economy.
