The Guiyang used-vehicle industry chain going global exchange meeting, hosted by the International Trade Sub-Council of Guizhou Automobile Circulation Association, was recently held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The meeting focused on the needs of Guiyang's used-vehicle industry chain as it goes global, with more than 40 representatives from local automotive industry chain enterprises and associations discussing the opportunities and challenges of global expansion.

At the meeting, representatives from Guiyang's used-vehicle record-filing enterprises presented the current business status and progress in used-vehicle export, and addressed common industry challenges.

They provided in-depth feedback on challenges in building export channels, cultivating talent teams, and other pain points, along with targeted policy recommendations based on actual operations, serving as a frontline reference for optimizing subsequent industrial policies.

Zhou Zeyu, an official from the Guiyang Free Trade Zone's (Guiyang FTZ) bureau of commerce, outlined the supportive policies of Guiyang FTZ and the China (Guiyang) Used Vehicle Export Base, including policy coverage, enterprise application conditions, and follow-up service guarantees. This provided clear guidance for enterprises with global aspirations on how to access policy benefits, boosting their confidence in going global.

This meeting is expected to help Guiyang's used-vehicle enterprises address practical challenges and establish an efficient platform for government-enterprise collaboration and inter-enterprise cooperation.
