In September and October of this year, Guiyang Free Trade Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, organized several job fairs for university and college graduates, involving 13 enterprises from the zone.
Nearly 500 job positions were offered to graduates from eight universities and colleges, including Guizhou Medical University, Guizhou University of Commerce, Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College, and Qingzhen Vocational Education City.
Before the job fairs, the zone contacted resident enterprises to understand their recruitment requirements and collected information on work environments, salary, and welfare.
It also promoted talent-friendly policies to reduce employment costs for private enterprises.
Guiyang FTZ also used new media technologies to broaden recruitment channels. During online job fairs, enterprises introduced their basic information, job requirements, and development prospects, attracting the attention and participation of job seekers.
Online postings were made available through WeChat accounts, providing timely employment information for job seekers.
After the job fairs, Guiyang FTZ provided follow-up services, including employment guidance, policy consultations, job recommendations, and introductions to company culture, helping graduates adapt to new environments and positions.
Guiyang FTZ also conducted follow-up visits regarding resume collection, job entry, and talent retention to ensure the right match between employers and employees and maximize each talent's potential.
