By Oct 30, the Guizhou Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park had attracted 120 enterprises, according to the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Since 2018, Guiyang FTZ has taken advantage of talent, policy, and location to introduce various types of enterprises and establish the Guizhou Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park.
It has built a global digital trade marketing matrix, provided comprehensive foreign trade services for the entire industrial chain, and explored new trade models to become a hub for cross-border e-commerce talents.
The second phase of the industrial park is expected to be fully operational by the end of this year, and further investment promotion will be conducted nationwide.
Guiyang FTZ is promoting the development of cross-border e-commerce and has achieved remarkable results. For example, the sea-rail intermodal train shipped more than 6,500 metric tons of Guizhou goods to 148 countries and regions worldwide.
Through cross-border e-commerce, Guizhou's enterprises have opened new markets and obtained more international orders. Groups of traditional enterprises in Guiyang have also transformed.
As of September, Guizhou had 338 registered cross-border e-commerce enterprises, more than two-thirds of which were located in the Guiyang FTZ.
