The Guiyang Free Trade Zone tax bureau, located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been focusing on development needs and taking proactive measures to help used-car export enterprises go global.
To better serve these enterprises, the tax bureau has assembled a professional team to provide personalized tax tips based on their production, sales, funding, and cost situations.
It has created a comprehensive service process that offers efficient tax services to help companies quickly understand customs declarations, foreign trade qualifications, and other business processes. This process includes online policy notifications, remote tax declaration guidance, and quick responses to tax-related inquiries.
Utilizing the zone's government service hall, the tax bureau established a special window for used-car export business, providing one-stop services for vehicle registration, vehicle deregistration, customs export declarations, and export tax refunds.
This further simplifies and optimizes business processes, reducing the time for enterprises to receive their first tax refund from 60-90 days to 30 days.
Tax personnel will visit enterprises conducting used-car business for the first time and learn about their needs. By using the export tax refund invoices and export declaration form information, the tax bureau has achieved automatic updating of enterprise declaration data and intelligent order matching.
Since 2023, the used-car export enterprises in the zone have reached an export volume of over 200 million yuan ($27.62 million). Three enterprises received export tax refunds totaling over 24 million yuan, attracting more than 10 upstream and downstream second-hand car export enterprises to the zone.
