Guiyang FTZ organizes field trip for university students

Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, invited students from Guizhou Normal University's School of International Education on a field trip to its cross-border digital trade industrial park on Oct 31. The trip aimed to promote cooperation among the government, universities, and enterprises.

During the visit, the business administration students learned in detail about the construction and operation of the industrial park and the achievements in building the cross-border e-commerce ecological chain.

A representative of the industrial park shared case studies with the students, explaining logistics operation models, customs supervision processes, and the characteristics of cross-border e-commerce logistics.

The visit also included a training session that shared expertise in cross-border e-commerce, the fundamentals of international trade, marketing strategies, and risk prevention. It also featured practical skills in platform operations such as site construction, store opening, product release, and data analysis.

The students participated in group tours where they immersed themselves in livestreaming rooms. This allowed them to learn about operational strategies and product display techniques and better understand livestreaming equipment, function, and effects,

This practical activity was important in helping students enhance their social awareness, improve their job-seeking abilities, and make informed career choices.

The students showed a strong interest in cross-border e-commerce and expressed that the trip gave them a comprehensive understanding of the current and future states of foreign trade.
