Guiyang Free Trade Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held an employment training event with the Guiyang Institute of Information Science and Technology on Oct 23.
The event attracted over 300 participants and aimed to assist university graduates in securing high-quality employment and entrepreneurship opportunities through career planning, job guidance, and policy advocacy.
During the event, employment training mentors engaged with graduates on topics such as "what is career planning," "the five steps of career planning," and "the hedgehog effect of career planning".
The event guided graduates to enhance their strengths, develop team organizational skills, and highlight core competitive abilities.
After the event, Guiyang FTZ highlighted Guiyang's talent policies and eight measures for university graduates' employment and entrepreneurship in the zone, providing policy support for those seeking employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The event is expected to elevate graduates' awareness of employment and entrepreneurship, broaden their innovative thinking and employment perspectives, clarify the job market situation, and help graduates establish accurate career goals.
Guiyang FTZ will continue to promote employment policies, establish communication platforms with universities, provide employment guidance and job recommendations, and publicize high-quality employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for graduates.
