About 30 enterprises from Baiyun district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, participated in an open economy lecture and foreign trade roundtable on Sept 2 at the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ).
The event provided comprehensive policy guidance and support for private enterprises in Baiyun, helping them understand international market dynamics and opportunities, and enhancing their international operational capabilities.
The enterprises visited Guiyang International Land Port, China (Guiyang) Used Car Export Base, and Guizhou (Guiyang) Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park to understand the open economy's operation mechanism, policy environment, industrial development, and international cooperation.
Guiyang FTZ provided introductions on the location, functions, industrial development, open channels, customs clearance procedures, facilitation policies, and its digital trade service platform.
Enterprise representatives said that the event provided a platform for communication and learning for practitioners in the foreign trade industry, giving them a comprehensive understanding of Guiyang FTZ's foreign trade policies and instilling confidence in their enterprises' future development.
Guiyang FTZ will continue to strengthen communication and cooperation with private enterprises in Guiyang, provide higher-quality foreign trade services and policy support for enterprises, and promote the high-quality development of private enterprises across the city.
