The Zhuchao Apartment in Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is currently under construction and expected to be completed in August.
It is located at the intersection of Zongbao Road and Kangyuan Road, with a planned land area of 24.91 mu (1.66 hectares) and a total construction area of 34,800 square meters.
It includes three buildings providing 448 government-subsidized rental apartment units and 210 parking spaces.
To benefit as many people as possible, the apartments will be small, with some consisting of one bedroom and one living room and others of two bedrooms and one living room, none bigger than 70 square meters.
The project is conveniently located within 300 meters of a bus stop and 500 meters of the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee and the bonded area.
The project will not only provide ample housing and reduce commuting times for employees in nearby industrial parks, but also optimize the business environment in the zone, attracting more industrial investment and talent.
According to the plan, all apartments will be equipped with household appliances, kitchen and bathroom facilities, and furniture to ensure residents can move in easily.
Additionally, the project will include a business hall, a multi-purpose hall, tabletop game rooms, gyms, and other activity areas to provide high-quality and diverse living, entertainment, and other services for residents.
Currently, Guiyang FTZ is home to four government-subsidized rental housing projects offering 326 apartment units. In addition to the Zhuchao Apartment project, another project is under construction, offering 1,710 apartment units.
Another project, for which land approval procedures have already been completed, is expected to start construction within the year.
