Government departments of the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a seminar with the business offices of Zhucheng Customs on July 18. The seminar aimed to facilitate cross-border trade.

During the seminar, Zhucheng Customs introduced 32 special measures to facilitate cross-border trade. Taking into account the actual situation of Guiyang FTZ, efforts were made to speed up the entire customs clearance process, utilize remote supervision, develop a smart customs platform, reduce domestic transportation costs, enhance support for cross-border e-commerce, and establish an international trade information portal.

The seminar emphasized the need to strengthen coordination with the provincial "One Port Access" platform, improve the smart comprehensive bonded application system, and expedite the debugging of the warehouse management system to meet the needs of enterprises.

The two sides will also optimize the foreign trade comprehensive service platform, integrate the latest favorable policies for enterprises from customs, finance, and foreign exchange, and create an international trade information portal by setting up consultation windows, among other things.

In the future, the Guiyang FTZ government will work with Zhucheng Customs to implement specific facilitation measures, promote the development of "smart customs," and provide more convenient and efficient services for enterprises.
