Since the beginning of this year, Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has launched a variety of activities, such as training sessions, competitions and internships, to implement its foreign trade talent training program.
According to the needs of export-oriented economic development, Guiyang FTZ has offered various foreign trade training courses to broaden the international trade perspectives of Party and government officials, enhance the foreign trade competitiveness of company employees, and improve the foreign trade capabilities of university graduates.
The zone has also conducted e-commerce skill competitions for Guiyang's e-commerce and import-export enterprises. This approach promotes the integration of the industrial chain, education chain, talent chain, and innovation chain.
To date, the zone has organized nine sessions of various training programs, including training for Party and government officials on export-oriented economic development and lectures for foreign trade enterprises, jointly training over 2,000 people.
Furthermore, Guiyang FTZ has established a partnership with Guizhou University of Finance and Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College to set up internship bases and training sessions.
This initiative helps the universities and colleges to learn about the demands and talent development directions of the cross-border e-commerce and foreign trade industries, offering students education and training more aligned with market needs.
To date, the zone has conducted five sessions of cross-border e-commerce training activities, involving 600 students.
