The 2024 online recruitment event of Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was held on July 5.
The event invited representatives from four resident companies of Guiyang FTZ to interact in real-time with job seekers through job introductions, online Q&A sessions, and online resume submission.
Yang Sheng, manager of the quality department at Guiyang Dingshan New Energy Co, said that many graduates participated in the event, which provided a convenient way to reach a wide audience, promote the company, and save both time and effort. The company hopes to participate in more such activities and attract more talent in the future.
Additionally, the event invited a student to the live broadcast, bridging the gap between enterprises and college graduates.
Qin Jie, a student from Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College, said that through the event, he learned about the recruitment process, how talent is evaluated, and what kinds of skills recruiters are looking for.
This event featured 24 companies offering 61 jobs, aiming to recruit 415 people.
In recent years, Guiyang FTZ has been discovering and offering job opportunities to attract more talent. Since the beginning of this year, it has attracted 801 talents.
The zone also launched a foreign trade talent training program, which has trained more than 2,000 people. At the same time, Guiyang FTZ is improving talent services to attract, cultivate, employ and maintain talents.
