To further boost the high-quality development of the open economy in Guiyang and Gui'an, Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) and Guiyang Federation of Industry and Commerce have introduced an initiative to assist private enterprises in expanding into international markets.
The initiative, which was launched in June, targets Guiyang's private enterprises which are planning to go global. A team including representatives from government departments, local companies, and financial institutions provides various services for said private enterprises.
Experts from customs, foreign trade, finance, insurance, and legal affairs are involved in interpreting policies, providing business consultations, and offering professional guidance to enterprises in various districts and counties.
Efforts have been made to thoroughly investigate private enterprises involved in international expansion and listen to their demands and difficulties. Guiyang and Gui'an offer foreign trade salons, business consultations, and networking events periodically to facilitate communication and cooperation among enterprises expanding internationally.
Guiyang FTZ also invites representatives from Bank of China, China Export Credit Insurance Corporation, and foreign affair-related lawyers to conduct seminars on foreign trade risk prevention for enterprises going global.
To date, Guiyang FTZ has conducted foreign trade training for 29 enterprises in Xiuwen county, Kaiyang county, and Huaxi district. The training will expand to cover the whole city by the end of the year.
