Guiyang Free Trade Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a foreign trade salon on the development and utilization of urban mineral resources on June 7.
The salon invited representatives from industry associations and enterprises involved in sectors such as the recycling of renewable resources, bonded maintenance, recycling and dismantling, new energy material production, and internet.
The salon introduced policies regarding urban mineral development and "green trade" while exploring various industrial chains from the perspectives of industry, enterprises, and government services.
Discussions were also held on issues such as environmental pollution, production factors, the current development level of Guiyang FTZ, and the need to precisely identify mineral resources.
Yao Feiyang, director of the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, said at the salon that the recycling and reuse of renewable resources are important measures to promote energy conservation and reduce emissions.
The event served as a platform for enterprises to learn more about related policies, expand their markets, and inspire new ideas for development. Relevant departments are required to conduct in-depth research on international trade, land use, and talent services related to the urban mineral resources.
Guiyang FTZ aims to attract more enterprises in order to ensure efficient and high-quality utilization of resources and promote the implementation of urban mineral resource projects.
