To eliminate bottlenecks in the development of the e-commerce industry – in such areas as research transformation, personnel training and social services – the Guiyang Free Trade Zone and Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College have joined forces.
The Guiyang FTZ and the college – both located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – on May 24 co-established an industry-education integration community and internship center.
It's understood that both parties aim to promote the establishment of an effective mechanism for the integration of industry, education and employment.
Moreover, they want to explore paths for cooperation between municipal government departments, colleges and companies – and to promote the high-quality development of the e-commerce industry in Guizhou.
As a community member, the Guiyang FTZ will participate in various tasks to realize resource sharing, the integration of education and industry, as well as joint training.
At the community launch ceremony, the college recognized the Guiyang FTZ as an internship center. It is expected to integrate high-quality resources in the zone, build a platform for college-enterprise cooperation, match supply and demand of talent and optimize the allocation of resources.
Moving forwards, plans are for the Guiyang FTZ to work together with e-commerce companies, colleges, research institutes and industry associations. This will be to jointly build an education platform and to promote resource sharing between colleges and enterprises.
Moreover, it will provide development potential options and diversified employment options for e-commerce professionals, attract more e-commerce folks to join the zone and achieve mutual win-win cooperation among government departments, companies and colleges.
