The Tietou · Duxiwanpan project, the first batch of government-subsidized rental housing in the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently completed and put into use.
Located at the intersection of Yansha Avenue and Zongbao Road in Guiyang FTZ, the project was built by Guiyang FTZ Financial Investment Holdings Co. It is surrounded by the Dula Bouyei township health center, Dula Primary School, Duxi Chuiliu Park, and Penglai Xianjie Scenic Area, with relatively complete supporting facilities.
Ten apartments have been put into use, each with an area of about 100 square meters with three bedrooms and one living room. They are mainly targeted at people who work in Guiyang FTZ. The rent is lower than that of similar quality market rental housing in the same area.
Each apartment has modern and simple furnishings, with sofas, a TV cabinet, a dining table, a refrigerator, a range hood, a stove, cabinets, beds, wardrobes, and computer desks, allowing residents to move in quickly and easily.
In addition, the construction of a dormitory-type government-subsidized rental housing project at the intersection of Zongbao Road and Kangyuan Road in Guiyang FTZ is also nearing completion.
The project is expected to be delivered by the end of July, providing 448 small, affordable rental units. This will further alleviate housing demand among young talent in Guiyang FTZ.
In the future, Guiyang FTZ plans to further improve the housing system according to the demands of local employees, ensuring that talent can come, stay, and live comfortably in the zone.
