According to the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ), the main structure of the first phase of the government-subsidized rental housing project for talents in the zone has been completed.
Currently, interior decoration and greening work are underway, and the buildings are expected to be delivered for use in July. By then, talents in the park can move in these new and fully-furnished apartments.
Located in a conveniently accessible area, the project plans to provide 448 apartments, each under 70 square meters. The apartments are equipped with complete home appliances, kitchen and bathroom facilities, and custom-made furniture, catering to the diverse residential needs of talents.
The apartments are for rent, and aim to solve the accommodation problem for talents in nearby industrial parks. They will shorten commuting time, optimize the business environment of the industrial parks, and attract more business investment.
In 2023, Guiyang FTZ started construction on 1,068 government-subsidized rental apartments, raised funds for 176 apartments, introduced three high-level innovative entrepreneurial talent teams, and various types of talents totaling 2,310 people, with talent subsidies totaling 996,800 yuan ($137,779.7).
