In a bid to further strengthen collaboration between the government, universities, and enterprises, as well as boost employment among graduates, Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) invited a delegation from the Guiyang Institute of Information Science and Technology to visit resident company Guizhou Hangrui Technology Co on April 11.
During the visit, the company's representatives introduced the company and its talent demands, leading the graduates on a tour of the production workshops.
Addressing questions raised by student representatives regarding on job training, the representatives expressed the company's commitment to providing three to six months of professional training for new recruits.
Additionally, they said that the company offers one-on-one mentorship training, facilitating a smooth transition for new employees by pairing them with experienced mentors.
Following the tour, representatives from the university, local government, and the company engaged in in-depth discussions on co-building laboratories, enterprise technology research and development, talent cultivation, and graduate employment.
After the discussions, the R&D and technical departments of the company interviewed nine students majoring in intelligent engineering from Guiyang Institute of Information Science and Technology, with several graduates expressing their intention to sign employment contracts with the company.
Moving forward, Guiyang FTZ will continue to organize a series of university-enterprise cooperation activities. It aims to connect universities and enterprises to facilitate high-quality employment for university graduates.
