The Guiyang Free Trade Zone and Beibu Gulf Port Co held a seminar in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Oct 25.

At the seminar, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening cooperation between Guiyang FTZ, Guiyang International Land Port, and Beibu Gulf Port.

Liu Shengwei, deputy director of the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, said that Guiyang FTZ is currently promoting the construction of Guiyang International Land Port and creating a new path for the development of "trade + industry + logistics" to improve the functions of the port.

She hopes that Beibu Gulf Port will continue to support the development of the zone's trade-oriented economy and promote cooperation with Guiyang International Land Port, enabling Guizhou enterprises to enjoy the same customs convenience as coastal ports.

Wen Zuyi, deputy general manager of Beibu Gulf Port Co, said that Guiyang International Land Port and Beibu Gulf Port have made substantial progress in jointly advancing the construction of the New International Land-sea Trade Corridor and Guiyang International Land Port by leveraging their respective strengths.

He hopes that in the future, both sides will further enhance communication and promote practical cooperation in more areas, helping Guizhou integrate into the development of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone.
