A delegation of the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation visited the Guiyang Free Trade Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Oct 17.
Li Jun, the director of the academy, visited the Guiyang International Land Port and cross-border e-commerce experience store on that day and was impressed by Guiyang FTZ's export-oriented economic development.
Liu Shengwei, deputy director of the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, introduced Guiyang FTZ's development, functions, and industrial development priorities.
She expressed hope that the academy makes full use of its resources and professional advantages, and provides guidance and assistance in promoting the development of service trade based on the policies and functions of Guiyang FTZ.
Li said that the academy will support Guiyang FTZ's development of new business formats such as cultural tourism, bonded R&D, and bonded maintenance, focusing on policy support, business format incubation, service innovation, and trade optimization.
This will further improve the quality and efficiency of service trade and help Guiyang FTZ achieve the high-quality development of its open economy.
