Guangzhou Port Group and the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) held a seminar on Oct 11, holding in-depth discussions on strengthening comprehensive and deep cooperation between the two sides.
Liu Shengwei, deputy director of the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, stated that the Guiyang FTZ is currently promoting the construction of the Guiyang International Land Port to improve the functional layout of the land port.
Liu hopes that Guangzhou Port Group will continue to support the development of the Guiyang FTZ's export-oriented economy and promote further cooperation with Guiyang International Land Port, allowing Guizhou enterprises to enjoy the same customs clearance conveniences as coastal ports and ensuring smooth logistics for land port cargo.
Zhang Chengyin, Party committee member of Guizhou Railway Investment Group Co, said that Guizhou Railway Investment Group Co and Guangzhou Port Group have made substantial progress in the construction of the Guizhou-Guangdong transportation channel and Guiyang International Land Port.
Zhang hopes that the two sides will further strengthen communication and promote pragmatic cooperation in more fields, contributing to the integration of Guizhou into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Yang Xianwu, secretary of the discipline inspection commission of Guangzhou Port Group, hopes that the Guangzhou Port and Guiyang International Land Port will continue to consolidate and expand cooperation achievements, promote the implementation of more projects, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the new logistics and trade channel between Guizhou and Guangdong.
