The Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) and Guizhou University of Commerce in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed a cooperation agreement on July 6, aiming to strengthen industry-academia collaboration, joint construction, and shared development.
According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will collaborate in talent cultivation, integration of industry and education, and school-enterprise collaboration, promoting resource sharing and common development.
They will establish an off-campus practical teaching base and a talent cultivation base, further advance the integration of industry and education, and cultivate a new model for talent development at enterprises and universities.
The delegation from Guizhou University of Commerce toured Sinopharm Group Guizhou Co and the Guizhou (Guiyang) cross-border e-commerce industrial park, learning about the enterprise's operations, talent demands, and talent cultivation.
The delegation worked to deepen industry-academia collaboration, and foster face-to-face communication and understanding between the school and enterprises, which will create ways to strengthen students' practical experience and employment opportunities.
The Guiyang FTZ and Guizhou University of Commerce also engaged in a discussion on topics such as industry-academia collaboration, industry prospects, talent supply and demand, and employment.
