Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently reached a cooperation agreement with the Guishangyi platform. Together, they will operate a "shared integration innovation base" incubator, which cultivates and supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in high-tech industries.
Guiyang FTZ is the first operational free trade zone in Guizhou and serves as an innovation platform that gathers technology and talent resources.
The Guishangyi platform, as a unified platform for enterprise services in Guizhou, has pioneered a new model of enterprise services in this area by integrating data from government, enterprises, financial institutions, and consumers.
Since its launch on May 26 last year, the platform has been downloaded over 3.38 million times. By the end of 2022, about 173 million yuan ($23.87 million) in municipal funds had been cashed out through the platform, benefiting 1,647 enterprises.
Giving full play to Guiyang FTZ's resources and talent advantages, both parties will explore the implementation of a big data incubation system.
This collaboration aims to enhance the level of service provided to technology companies in the zone, better meet the development needs of technological SMEs, and jointly create an ideal ecosystem for technological innovation.
The goal is to facilitate the innovative development of technological SMEs and promote regional industrial upgrading.
