Guizhou province's first "zero-distance" tax service model was recently introduced in the Guiyang Free Trade Zone.
The new service model aims to enhance the accessibility of services, with the introduction of a range of new measures to provide flexible and customized services to guide taxpayers through the complexities of the tax system.
More than 30 representatives of major enterprises based in Guiyang FTZ were recently invited to experience the new service model at the government affairs service hall.
One of the representatives, Hu Qin, finance director of China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) Guiyang Co, said that she was impressed by the new intelligent guide system, which made it easier for her team to search for relevant information based on different tax categories. Additionally, if they had any other questions or issues, there are staff members available to provide assistance.
As the first "zero-distance" tax service area in the province, the new system replaces the traditional tax collection model with a self-service area.
The new model has already proven to be effective, with an increase in overall tax efficiency by 50 percent. The time needed for business registration has also been reduced from half a workday to instant completion.
The system has also helped facilitate the closure of businesses, making it simpler and more convenient for taxpayers to handle their tax affairs. More than 1,200 companies have already benefited from these customized services.
Going forward, Guiyang FTZ will further optimize its tax services through various forms of tax policy promotion activities and visits to companies. Ultimately, the goal is to create a favorable business environment that supports the high-quality development of the zone.
