Guiyang Free Trade Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, aims to solve problems in financing, innovation and talent demand as it seeks to expand the number of market entities, and create new policies and optimize services to increase the market entities by 200 this year.
Since the beginning of this year, Guiyang FTZ has focused on the cultivation of key companies and encouraged government department cooperation in order to provide one-on-one training, guidance and supervision services.
In the meantime, Guiyang FTZ will implement various policies to reduce taxes and fees, relieve financial pressure on companies, and provide services to help companies apply for awards and funds, introduce and cultivate talent, and cooperate with universities and research institutes.
Guiyang FTZ will accelerate the construction of sci-tech innovation platforms, establish technological enterprise incubators, and encourage qualified companies to increase R&D investment to improve their technological innovation capabilities.
In 2023, Guiyang FTZ aims to cultivate six high-tech companies. It will also encourage industrial companies above a designated size, high-tech companies and industrial leading companies to start transformation in line with the stock system.
