The 2023 Guiyang Imported Goods Festival began in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Jan 7 and will last until Jan 15.

This year's festival has an exhibition area of 600 square meters and five major sections for imported makeups, imported candies, imported milk powder, imported wine, and other global goods.

At the event site, king crabs and Boston lobsters attracted much attention.

"Our seafood is very fresh," said Shi Qiang, chairman of Guizhou Shizai Seafood Group Co.

He said that the company integrates logistics, wholesale, retail, and distribution, and after the opening of relevant international cargo flights in Guiyang, seafood shipping will become more convenient.

"Guiyang will promote import trade, expand and strengthen innovative e-commerce, and upgrade the quality of imported products to improve quality of life for locals," said the relevant person in charge of the foreign trade department of the Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce.
