A delegation from the Guiyang Free Trade Zone – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – recently forged a key technological cooperation agreement.
That followed a visit to the Guizhou Material Industry Technology Research Institute, where it signed a formal intention to cooperate on technology consultations, the commercialization of sci-tech achievements and on supplying technological services.
The institute will provide tech consultation services for key Guiyang FTZ industries and technical guidance on difficulties being experienced by companies in R&D and innovation. It will coordinate technologies for innovation projects and play to the Guiyang FTZ's location advantages.
The sci-tech achievements of the institute will be commercialized in the Guiyang FTZ with the zone's support in policies, investment, financing and sites.
With the institute's advantages in R&D personnel, technology and output achievements, the Guiyang FTZ and the institute are expected to expand cooperation between companies, universities and research institutes.
Moreover, the institute will provide support for Guiyang FTZ's companies in R&D and pilot technology tests.
