A delegation from the Guiyang Free Trade Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, visited South China's Guangdong province to attract investment on May 9-11.
The delegation visited companies, industrial associations and research institutes in the cities of Shenzhen and Dongguan to learn about their development and market potential.
Yao Feiyang, director of the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, introduced basic information about the zone, including its supporting facilities and industrial development plans and policies, especially policies to provide financial support for companies, and invited Guangdong companies to visit the zone.
Yao also visited the Guiyang FTZ's investment attraction team in Guangdong and directed the team to seize upon opportunities brought about by the processing and manufacturing industries relocating inland from the eastern coastal areas, communicate with companies in East China, and convince more companies to invest in the zone.
