The Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) and Guiyang customs port data center in Southwest China's Guizhou province visited China Construction Bank's Chaoyang branch in Beijing on Nov 25 to discuss integrated services offered by the local government, bank and national government department.
At the meeting, the three parties discussed progress on offline electronic port IC card pilot services. Guiyang FTZ's government affairs service center then explained the online process of applying for the electronic port IC card, especially the electronic certificate application process that requires no documents to be submitted and electronic sheets that require nothing to be filled in.
The three parties also tested the online application process for electronic port IC cards and discussed real name certification and security management for company accounts and the optimization of some online functions.
Since the Guiyang FTZ's government affairs service center launched the application service for electronic port IC cards, the average time needed to register foreign trade companies in Guiyang has been reduced from 30 days to just three days.
In the future, the Guiyang FTZ will make the application service even more convenient, continue optimizing the business environment, reduce trade costs for market entities, and stimulate market vitality and social innovation.
