The Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – on Oct 19 held a training session, to help participants interpret new talent policies that were recently rolled out to facilitate the implementation of Guiyang's five-year development plan.
The meeting conducted an in-depth assessment and review of the talent policies of the city and the nearby Guian New Area. It examined the implementation schedule of the five-year action plan for the Guiyang-Guian talent recruitment program and the overall talent goals for 2021.
The meeting also stressed that related municipal departments should specify their responsibilities and strengthen their internal cooperation – to better carry out talent policies and provide talent support for the zone's development.
At the event, it was agreed that officials responsible for talent recruitment and training should provide efficient and high-quality services for enterprises and people, by identifying and tracking their requirements through in-field investigations, questionnaires and meetings.
Plans are for the zone to further improve communications with resident companies, in order to create an optimal environment for them to innovate and start up businesses there.
