The Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has applied big data technology to improve the quality of government affairs services.
At the Guiyang FTZ's government affairs service center, an electronic port platform can help enterprises and individuals handle affairs relating to banks, customs, government departments, and enterprises over a period of one to 30 days.
So far, the platform has handled 756 applications and 107 import and export cases.
To save time for enterprises and individuals, the government affairs service center uses big data technology to pre-check application materials at the service windows and verify them online so that data between customs, banks, and government departments can be shared.
With the electronic port platform, applicants can complete customs registration procedures online all at once.
The government affairs services are also available on smart phones, WeChat, telephones, and through mails.
