A modern logistics warehouse and supply chain service – being funded by Jiangsu Feiliks International Logistics Co – is set to be launched in the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, or Guiyang FTZ, located in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

A signing activity was recently held in the province's capital city of Guiyang, with the project expected to attract companies, businesses and other projects and investments from East China's Jiangsu province.

Founded in 1993, Feiliks is a Jiangsu-based logistics services group which provides integrated supply chain solutions to manufacturers. Its clients have included Fortune Global 500 companies engaged in IT, communications, the automotive sector, precision instruments and other industries.

According to Song Ke, general manager of the company's business department, Guiyang is an important transportation hub in Southwest China, which fits in with the company's operations and ambitions.

"We hope to strengthen cooperation with local logistics enterprises, to further optimize Guizhou's logistics channels," Song said. "We will also introduce railway freight trains connecting Guizhou and Jiangsu and even East China," he added.

In recent years, Guiyang has established a number of logistics parks to improve its efficiency and information-sharing and the Guiyang FTZ is one of them.

Integrating bonded exports, bonded logistics and ports, it reportedly has the most comprehensive functions and efficient policies among the special zones in China.
