Guiyang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in Southwest China's Guizhou province launched a pilot project on March 8 to further facilitate customs clearance for enterprises, according to Guiyang FTZ officials.
The pilot project – jointly developed by the data center of China Electronic Port and China Construction Bank (CCB) – is an innovative service designed to help enterprises enjoy faster customs clearance.
The project's "Sharing USB Key" is a product which functions as an e-port customs clearance card and a CCB USB key. Enterprises can use it to log into online customs channels and CCB online banking platforms to handle various items of customs business and e-banking business.
Enterprises in the Guiyang FTZ can apply for the "Sharing USB Key" product in the zone's government service hall. The application can be approved within one working day after the enterprise submits relevant materials.
Officials said the pilot project is a practical example of the Guiyang FTZ's efforts to create a convenient service brand with the characteristics of the special zones supervised by customs in China. The zone will continuously optimize its business environment to promote the high-quality development of its export-oriented economy.
