Xu Biao, member of the Party Working Committee of Guiyang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and deputy director of Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, hosted a meeting to analyze the zone's current situation and to plan the economic work for the first quarter of 2021.
Located in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, the zone plans to strengthen its real economy, as well as to build a new center of the export-oriented economy in Guiyang.
Focusing on the industrial economy, the zone will do a good job in attracting investment and providing better services for its projects and enterprises. It will make full use of different financing channels to expand effective investment, promoting the construction of major projects.
The zone will put emphasis on cross-border e-commerce to accelerate the development of the digital economy. In addition to online transactions, the zone also plans to expand the medium and high-end consumer market relying on offline business complexes.
