The industrial development bureau and the taxation bureau of the Guiyang Free Trade Zone -- located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- jointly held a training course on Oct 30 for scientific and technological companies.
The program was designed to introduce the latest policies and measures concerning technology-based innovation and entrepreneurship.
During the training, the two bureaux gave briefings on the favorable policies on special funds and tax reductions that are available. The session also invited experts to give suggestions on how companies can get to be recognized as high-tech enterprises, so as to qualify and enjoy the policy benefits.
The event enabled businesses to quickly understand the policies and learn about how to reap the rewards. They added that the training will also play a positive role in promoting the zone's cultivation of high-tech enterprises and the innovative development of companies.
