The Guiyang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) - located in the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province - signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College on Sept 28, according to local media reports.

According to the agreement, both sides will strengthen cooperation in cross-border e-commerce and modern logistics to help the province's construction of an inland opening-up economic pilot zone and the city's construction of a cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone.

Luan Yan, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Guiyang FTZ and director of Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, said the zone will spare no effort to provide enterprise resources for the college's research and investment attraction in cross-border e-commerce industrial chain.

He added that the zone will make itself a practical training base for the college to train higher qualified students.

Yu Hong, secretary of the Party Committee of Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College, said the college will further promote its training conditions and teaching quality, with the strong support from the Guiyang FTZ, in order to cultivate more talents in the fields of cross-border e-commerce and modern logistics.
