Luan Yan, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and director of the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, made arrangements to optimize the business environment of the Guiyang FTZ and Guian New Area FTZ -- in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- during a meeting held on July 3, officials said.
He indicated that the business environment is not only a productive force, but also a mirror of local politics, the economy and society, which is related to the development of enterprises and the happiness index of its residents.
Luan said the two zones should take effective measures to optimize their business environment, promoting their high-level opening-up and high-quality development.
During the meeting, he urged the two zones to raise their efficiency and avoid bureaucracy when helping and serving companies.
Under his measures, the two zones will move to innovate to attract investment, positively responding to support local business support in an improved environment. He added that the two zones should have a zero-tolerance attitude towards behavior that harms the business environment.
The measures also require the two zones to create a convenient, flexible, transparent, fair and efficient business environment for the implementation and development of projects.
