A delegation from the Hongyuan E-commerce Industrial Park in Dongguan in Guangdong province paid a strategic visit to the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) -- in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- on April 7, to discuss cooperation in cross-border e-commerce, according to Guiyang FTZ officials.
During the meeting, officials discussed the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry in the Guiyang FTZ.
Luan Yan, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Guiyang FTZ and director of the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, said the zone had special advantages in terms of policies, functions and resources as the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone of Guiyang.
He said that the Guiyang FTZ is building a cross-border e-commerce industrial park -- which will attract enterprises engaged in e-commerce, logistics and warehousing -- to make itself a distribution center for high-end import and export commodities, with a bonded commodities exhibition and trading center.
Luan indicated that Hongyuan had rich experience in e-commerce park construction and operation and abundant supply chain resources for imported commodities. The two sides could adopt flexible ways to carry out cooperation in park construction and bringing in more resources, he added.
The representatives of the Hongyuan E-commerce Industrial Park said that they were confident about prospects for cooperation due to the unique functions and advantageous policies of the Guiyang FTZ.
They said they would provide supply chain resources to promote the cooperation, realizing the two sides' mutual development in the cross-border e-commerce industry.
