On Oct 24, a delegation led by the chief representative of the Europe Office of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce, XuDansong, inspected the Guiyang Free Trade Zone.

Huang Jun, a member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, welcomed the delegation.
Huang gave a comprehensive introduction on the functional advantages, planning and layout, business environment, development status and prospects of Guiyang and the free trade zone.
The delegation highly praised the achievements of the zone and expressed their high expectation of its future development.
The two sides reached consensuses on promoting cooperation during the visit. Firstly cooperation with the free trade zone by sorting out the enterprises that will invest in China and utilizing the European resources offered by the delegation will be prioritized. Secondly, the functional role of the cooperation zones will be further developed by giving full play to the Swiss (Guizhou) Industrial Demonstration Park as a source of European investment. Thirdly, establishment of logistics channels with European enterprises will be explored with reliance on the location advantage of the Guiyang Free Trade Zone.
